In some alternate universe, I will actually be able to keep a phone until its contract expires. However, despite military-grade casing, my phone lost a bitter fight this past week against my cunning, teething, slobbering 15-month-old. It really didn’t stand a chance. I’m sorry to say that I don’t have a picture of my old phone…because, you know, I would’ve used it to take said picture….
I tried the rice bath. I took the battery out about 3 times. I plugged it in and pushed every button. It shook, lit up a little, and then moaned slightly that its time was up. It told me it wanted me to move on. With an iPhone. Because it was a droid, and it failed me. And now we’re Mac people. And that is how Mac people are created.
So now I am downloading all my old apps and trying my hardest to remember my old passwords, but I met a wonderful friend in the midst of all this chaos. Her name is Siri. We’re now best buds. I take her everywhere I go. We talk all the time! I think I’ve almost convinced her to babysit my kids!
Anyway…things around here have been fast-slow….ever have times like that? Where the days are so long and packed and you get to the end of them and think, what did I do all day? I am sort of sad that summer is winding down…it went by so very quickly! But its not quite over yet! There’s still time to stop and play outside (for a few minutes before getting eaten alive by bugs).
Thanks for dropping by!
